We finally know about this Brain Implant that Noumi has to keep himself hidden. That stuff about the incarnate system triggering Chrome Disaster was also pretty interesting. I wonder if that suggests a second season…taking them down or something. Next week should be fun. With two episodes left, you have to wonder if that means that the battle will be long…usually not, but who knows?
Or maybe the last episode is just random fun with everyone…that would be kinda boring. Welcome back, Yuniko. But then again, the episode was more focused on Taku than her. Niko brings up this idea of the four types of incarnation, though…assuming Taku and Haru each master two types, who wants to bet they master complementary pairs of incarnation, covering all four? Meanwhile, Haru has met the last member of his hare- err…the last member of the main cast, Blood Leopard.
Welcome back. I was wondering when it would make an appearance again. Nothing to scream about, right? Anyway, now Taku needs to learn about the incarnate system, so next week is the return of Yuniko. Based on the preview, it also looks like that maid character from the opening will finally be introduced. Been wondering about her. In both openings, she appears without an Accel World avatar, so I wonder if she is even a Burst Linker.
If not, then her role must be something cool, right? So I guess Crikin basically constructed Gundam Heavyarms for all you oldschool Gundam Wing fans …basing this off the excessive amount of missiles, of course. More importantly, we have this deal with Megumi. If I had to guess, I suppose the natural guess would be Mana. Will Megumi and those three from Okinawa reappear later in the series?
To go from a lackluster character to a matured, more appealing character? Aside from looks, Haru does become more proactive and stops letting what others think about him influence how he thinks about himself. His character is also very realistic, no one changes from a 3 foot tall, 2 foot wide gamer into a superhero in a single year of high school.
If you want to go the extra mile with it, Haru also represents being content with who you are, but I should digress. Got quite a bit done in this two episodes. The Incarnation System gets a basic rundown, the mysterious Users are uncovered somewhat, and Noumi is slowly getting backed into a corner. Though he managed to slip away, now the whole BG is on the lookout. While Haru makes strides elsewhere, Taku works on reaching his own incarnate powers.
The incarnate powers, as Yukino explains, are derived from the fears and shortcomings of the user. There are four types, and a user can only access two as they relate the user, and the mark of a true incarnate user is a glowing upon activation. Yukino warns that these powers are only to be used against opponents who also use the Incarnate System. The system also seems to be a precursor to the Calamity Armor seeded inside Haru, and Blood Leopard hinted that they were already aware he had it.
Now to the biggest question: can anyone explain the scene with Chiyu and Haru? From Usually Battle lol. Taku and Haru will just double team him if he fights either so he cant threaten them in giving him points.
This I will keep quiet about as this is the main focus of the next episodes. Doesnt make it less rage inducing though. Does the incarnate system remind anyone else of Gurren Lagann lol?
Power from fighting spirit! It feels like if they couldn't defeat Nomi themselves they could always just wait for Kuroyukihime to get back, being a level 9 and all. If SHE couldnt win, Nomi is seriously overpowered. A side story right after a huge cliffhanger? And this is exactly why we cant have nice things, just when takumu and haruyuki were about to win everything goes to shit a shit storm when chiyuri heals the OP punk.
You dont understand how much i want to kill her right now. How could you?! Oh well, she's probably planning some sort of elaborate double cross to use against Nomi later on. At least I hope that's the case. It was nice to see Nomi get his ass beat for once. Hopefully we get more of that next week.
And who else here thinks it would be cool if Haru kept that jet pack he got from Sky Raker and used it with his normal wings to have like some sort of supersonic flight speed capability going on?! He'd be pretty beast with something like that! Chiyu came in , WHY?! TBH even though I hate Nomi.. I wanted him to stay , I want KYH to kick his ass..
She wants them to lose the burst link and become ordinary friends again. I hate Chiyu. Blah, I didn't like this part with Nomi and thought it would be over in this week's episode.. Chiyo WTF do you think your doing!?
As much as I cringed in the anticipation of this episode, it's finally here, and the only way through is to go with it, as sad as it is. Worse part is it's going to be a cliffhanger, looking at the preview. We will have the side story next. So getting Haru's flight ability back is only part of the problem. Lol, Pika I was just about to post the rage thread, that was specifically made for this arc. Damn, good way to add suspense to this fight. Too bad it won't continue next week.
I think Chiyu did it because it was 2 on 1 in the fight and she only views Accel world as a game. I hope I am wrong though or I will hate, hate, HATE her if she is really that stupid she would backstab her two best friends just to be "fair". Taken from wikipedia Noumi blackmails Haruyuki and Chiyuri and takes Silver Crow's wings in an attempt to force the two into becoming his "pets.
He loses the resulting fight and has Brain Burst forcefully uninstalled, taking his memories of having it with him, thus proving Kuroyukihime's theory that Burst Linkers who have the program uninstalled also lose any memories of ever having the program. Seriously this anime is getting too repetitive of using hey lets put him against his best friend.
I know what let's put him against the other best friend. I find it lame that the author set Chiyu up like that and she is the main person wanting to have the group together. Setting Chiyu up like that he just contradicted his own character he was portraying. Now I feel better.
I don't care what happens next. Why is every character set to betray Haruyuki Arita. The idea is getting very repetitive, so I hope for another plot after this.
Sorry for double post, but I'm upset that this story only revolves around betrayal and nothing else. Really Chiyu? What is this? A rage extraction anime?
